The 15 Best Teror & Village Tours in Gran Canaria

19 reviewed

Teror’s timbered balconies and Sunday market are the postcard of the green interior, and the villages around it reward a slow visit. These tours run the mountain roads to them: which include a cheese or wine stop, how much walking is involved, and what the day costs door to door.

“We had an amazing tour our driver Yan from Sweden was brilliant he explained everything about the landscape we was driving through. He knew I was afraid of heights so took it steady on the dirt track roads. The aloe Vera farm was interesting but the products quite expensive. Had a group photo taken that was €10 to buy. Overall great experience and would do it again if we return to Gran Canaria.”

“Very pleasant trip, great route and stops, charming tour guide. Made a stop at a restaurant with a great view of the mountains, food and wine was very delicious and affordable. Unfortunately i forgot my glasses at the restaurant, but the tour guide and the company helped to get them back and arranged a very convenient pick up point for me so I could pick them up just in time before my flight back home. Thanks a lot again.”

“Worried that small group was actually a big group separated in 3 minibuses, so cannot hear the guide normally, because it was in another bus. If I knew this, i would buy a cheaper trip in a big bus - first because the sound was really bad and finally had a headache because of sound artefacts. In a summary trip was good! Would like more time in villages and more informative tour - skipped half info because if the sound and at place it was only free time, no guide”
